Specific antibodies against bovine herpesvirus-1 (BHV-1) were determined by parallel examination of blood samples obtained from cows and calves, utilizing the ELISA-test and the method of micro virus neutralization. An adequate regression relationship between net extinction and the values of neutralizing antibody titer was determined by statistical analysis of the results obtained. However, values for antibody titers could not be accurately predicted on the basis of the extinction. It was determined that the accuracy rate was 30 for the majority of tested titers. However, accuracy approched 80 for particular values of neutrolizing antibody titer.
