A contribution to the standardization and internationalization of poultry science terminology

This paper, besides some introductory remarks, as well as suggestions regarding the organization of work and giving examples on some already standardized and internationalized terms, also speaks about the origin and use of certain scientific and expert terms in poultry science, that is veterinary medicine and poultry science in the first place, as well as in its related industry, and sciences. Also the examples of transcription of scientific terms originating from classical languages are given, while the need for introducing new terms from new scientific disciplines is stressed. For these new terms the correspondent terms should be found in Serbian language whenever it is possible. At the end we also wanted to stress the need of the Yugoslav experts to join in the work of correspondent international organizations for standardization and internationalization of the above mentioned terminology.
