We studied symbiotic effectiveness of eight bean genotypes (Slavonski zuto-zeleni, Vukovarski tezak, Dvedesetica, Royal Duch, Belko, Zlatko, Sremac, Panonski gradistanac), inoculated immediately before seeding with a microbiological preparation containing highly effective strains of Rhizobium leguminosarum bv. phaseoli. The experiment was conducted in field conditions on the black meadow soil. Plant length, dry matter mass and nitrogen content in aboveground plant parts, roots, nodules and whole plants were determinated at the stage of flowering. The obtained results indicate that symbiotic efficiency depends on plant genotypes.
