Within the scope of investigations devoted to the ichthyoparasitic fauna of Serbia (Yugoslavia) and during the completion of a specialization projekt (Cakic, 1986) performed in time period 1984-1985, the material was collected from the main channels of the Mire of Pancevo. A detailed examinations for the presence of parasites were done. In the roach (Rutilus rutilus) a parasitic nematode larva Raphidascaris acus juv. was identified and in the pumpkinseed (Lepomis gibbosus) a parasitic copepode Larnaea cyprinacea. Based on the available literature on parasitofauna of the fresh water fish species in Yugoslavia this is the first time record on the presence of these parasites at the above hosts.
