Land reclamation systems in the Vojvodina Province, Serbia (Yugoslavia), offer conditions for stable agricultural production. Surplus water collected from drainage systems can be evacuated only by pumping stations. The largest number of those objects use electric energy for their work. Climate conditions in Vojvodina to make possible using alternative energy sources during evacuation of collected surplus water in recipient or during water supply for irrigation. Special importance for all that is wind energy use. World experiences in this field numerous, especially in case smaller irrigation fields. Using this kind of energy requires correction of drainage canals net, size of drainage systems etc. Analyses of evacuated surplus water quantity, pumping dynamics and wind properties direct to possibilities of wind energy using as additional energy on land reclamated field in Vojvodina.
