Technology of recovering ring of rotational sugar dryer

In this paper, the technology of recovering of sugar dryer rings is given. This kind of dryers are operational in five "new" sugar factories in Vojvodina (Yugoslavia) built in 1979. The choice of optimal constructive solution is performed with complete analysis of current state of present rings in those sugar factories, as well as in "old" sugar factories in Vojvodina (Yugoslavia). Analysis of crack genesis on sugar dryer rings and detailed overlooking of those cracks have been performed in last five years. Technology of cracks recovering on sugar dryer rings is given at the end of this paper. Recovering of rings is performed by REL procedure of cold welding. Investigation results of welding junctions with destructive and non destructuve methods are also given.
