[Comparative analysis of financial results and financial position of agriculture in the Vojvodina Province [Serbia, Yugoslavia]]

The authors have conducted comparative financial analysis both of Vojvodinian agricultural taken as a whole, and of indiviadual agricultural activities. The 1998 results have been compared with those from the previous years. The overall financial performance cannot be seen as satisfactory. The accounts show significant losses - higher than those produced in 1997. The 1998 losses are 66% higher for all agricultural activities, 17% higher for field farming, and 546% higher for animal husbandry. However, in viticulture and fruit cultivation financial losses have declined for 68%. Very pronounced financial disequilibrium have affected financial position of all agricultural activities.
