Analysis of forming and regulation of nitric oxides in exaust gasses of internal combustion engines

Since the lean air-fuel mixture and high temperature are appropriate for the economical engine work, in large scale, it solves the problems of CO and HC (hydrocarbons) emission but also complicates the problem of NOx (nitric oxide) emission. Therefore, the NOx reduction, in toxic emission control of exhaust gasses is the key issue. Investigation of variable factors that influence its formation and additional reduction is interesting subject to research in this field. In this paper an analysis of conditions, causes, quantities and ways of its formation as well as the technological possibilities of emission control was done.
