Fully penetrated great diametre wells with perforated concrete rings are not recommended as catchments of water in alluvial gravel. The saturated part of gravel is practically closed by concrete rings. That is most expressed on the example of the sources of "Prijevor-Parmenac" for the water supply of Cacak, Serbia (Yugoslavia). Capacity of 172-218 l/s was gained only from fourteen dug wells f3400/3000 mm by eight infiltration basins. Partially penetrated wells of the some diametre with water inflow from the bottom are far more exploitable.
