Pseudogley soil covers almost 25% of the agricultural land in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is characterized by natural unfavourable physical and chemical properties. The study results of the effects of applied complex of land reclamation measures on the physical and chemical properties of pseudogley soil after long term usage under the fruit orchard have been presented in this thesis. It was assumed that applied land reclamation measures improve pseudogley characteristics and that positive impact of amelioration is presented after long term usage under orchard. The investigations were done on three different variants of pseudogley. Two of them were reclaimed pseudogley under apple orchard, which differ in time of exploitation, 9 1nd 13 years. The third one, control, was non-reclaimed pseudogley, near the orchard, under the native vegetation. The six profiles were opened on each of three variants. After studying the egzo and endomorphology, the soil samples were taken from the same depths of the profiles. The main physical and chemical soil characteristics were determined by laboratory analysing.
