Genetic divergence in yield components and grain quality of bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.)
2000
Vasic, M.
A 3-year trial has been conducted in the location of Rimski Sancevi (Serbia, Yugoslavia) to study genetic divergence of 129 bean genotypes. The study included two qualitative traits, grain color and shape, and 13 quantitative traits, three components of plant height, five direct yield components and five chemical properties of grain. The studied genotype collection was found to be genetically divergent for the most important traits.
