Ecological function of dendroflora of the Futoski park in Novi Sad [Serbia, Yugoslavia]

The subject of this research is the ecological function of dendroflora of the Futoski park in Novi Sad (Serbia, Yugoslavia). The floristic structure of the park, excepting lawns, includes 108 species, varieties and cultivars of dendroflora growing as solitary forms, small groups, alleys and masses. The structre of the green area includes 788 representatives of conifers, 486 high deciduous trees, 463 conifer shrubs and 6180 deciduous shrubs. In the urban structure of that part of the city, where medical institutions are concentrated, deciduous species and conifers have special eco-biological and environmental values.
