By factorial trial method (2x2) two procedures of maize plant silage ensiling were investigated (optimal and partially satisfying) and two levels (0 and 0.2%) of organic modified mineral mycotoxin adsorbent supplement "Minazel Plus" (ITNMS-Beograd product, Yugoslavia). Under optimal ensiling conditions addition of "Minazel Plus" in amount of 0.2% increased amount of lactic acid from 73.36 to 82.20%, decreased acetic acid from 26.64 to 17.8% and increased pH from 3.33 to 3.35. Mold amount in silage with "Minazel Plus" supplement was significantly reduced. Presence of mycotoxins in these silages (zearalenone, T-2 toxin and DAS) was not found or it was only in trace. Silages were ranked as the first class (49 points). Under partially satisfying ensiling conditions, "Minazel Plus" addition increased amount of lactic acid from 49.52 to 75.40%, decreased amount of acetic acid from 50.48 to 24.61% and increased pH from 3.36 to 3.4. Mold amount, in silage with "Minazel Plus" supplement, was significantly reduced and amount of above mentioned mycotoxins by 10-100% lower. Silage without investigated mycotoxin adsorbent supplement was ranked as the second class (37 points), and with supplement as the first class (49 points).
