[The state and perspectives of apple production in Vojvodina [Serbia, Yugoslavia]]

The paper is short review of apple production in Vojvodina (Serbia, Yugoslavia). Yugoslav production is 200,166 t (average for the period 1994-1999), and Vojvodina production is 77,000 (average for the period 1996-2000). Regarding ecological conditions, this production is very low. Integrated fruit production in a goal where developed counties are aiming. Ecologically acceptable practice is introduced in fruit production. Yugoslav apples cultivars is different to world one. Predominant variety in Vojvodina is Idared, present 50%, but in Europe is Golden Delicious.
