The rationalization of energy consumption in drying chambers with pneumatic material transport

Energy expensises are the important items in product price. Each recuperation of wasted heat effects on production expenses reducing. Energy saving can be achieved by fitting into heat-exchangers-recuperations. Fitting heat exchangers into the pneumatic drying chambers, in order to reduce heat losses in one of more modern technical solutions. In the paper are given: the calculation for heat recuperation, as well as the technological scheme of the drying chamber. There is also presented the procedure for the relevant parameters, by applying h - x diagram. There are also presented the researching results and the possibilities for energy saving onto the pneumatic drying chambers for starch food processing industry and pneumatic drying chamber for maize bran (feed for domestic animals) - agriculture industry. On that basis follows result analysis.
