The Botanical Garden "Jevremovac" of the University in Belgrade represents a unique monument to the nature of Serbia (Yugoslavia), being of great national, scientific, educational and cultural significance. It this test, the actual status and the regime of protection of "Jevremovac" is analyzed and compared to the other monuments to the nature in Serbia (Yugoslavia). Apart from a critical analysis of a current state and basic values of the Botanical Garden, in this test some highlights on problems in functioning as well as its faster development in the future, are given.
