Chemically Enhanced Primary Treatment (CEPT) process combine conventional primary treatment process of wastewater with addition of coagulant and flocculant. Total effect of CEPT process significantly exceeds treatment efficiency of conventional primary treatment process, approaching CEPT process in some effects to secondary treatment process. In this way, CEPT process can unload secondary treatment of wastewater or temporary substitute it (with lower treatment efficacy, but with significance lower cost). In respect of CEPT process characteristics, and situation about wastewaters in our praxis, application perspectives of CEPT process for wastewater treatment in our praxis is discussed in this paper.
