In this work gorge part of the Almas stream valley (Fruska Gora mountain, Serbia, Yugoslavia) is shown as an interesting geological-geomorphological-hydrological object, which has very high significance. On the profiles of vertical cut-offs stratigraphical relations are noticed between different geological units, whose further investigations give better knowledge of this part of the Pannonian basin in Pleistocene and Plieocene. Because of its aesthetic and relevant scientific values in the field of geology, geomorphology and hydrology, canyon part of the Almas stream valley is suggested for protection as the natural monument.
