Having in mind the importance of caesal coccidiosis in contemporary poultry beeding, possibilities for instigating court for proceedings to determine responsibility for its occurrence and resulting damages, we considered it necessary and interesting for practice to establish its extent, latency and duration in conditions of experimental infection with Eimeria tenella. An experiment was performed on 50 one-day-old chicks infected on the 14th day of age with 4x105 sporulated oocysts of Eimeria tenella. The basic parameters followed for the purpose of the forensic evaluation of this disease were dynamics of death, clinical picture, pathoanatomical and pathohistological changes and finding of certain development stages of Eimeria tenella in the period from the second to the seventh day after infection.
