En el presente informe de pasantía se presentan las medidas de adaptación al cambio climático formuladas para el municipio de Puente Nacional (Santander), las cuales fueron estructuradas acorde a los lineamientos establecidos por el Plan Integral de Gestión y el Plan Nacional de Adaptación al Cambio Climático (PIGCCT y PNACC), iniciando con la recopilación y tratamiento de información existente en los archivos de la Alcaldía Municipal, información de entidades privadas y los aportes de las asociaciones productivas, para así realizar el inventario de emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero para el año 2019, el cual entregó como resultado que el aporte del municipio es de 45.92 kTon CO2 eq para ese año en particular, lo que permitió identificar los aportes de cada uno de los sectores para elaborar la matriz de aspectos e impactos ambientales y evaluar los riesgos asociados al incremento de 1.5° Celsius en la temperatura media del municipio, con estos insumos se formularon las medidas de adaptación acorde a los escenarios de mayor afectación como sequías, fenómenos de remoción en masa, afectación a las comunidades, deforestación y gestión de residuos.
