Incidencia de los residuos, en la calidad ambiental del entorno del centro de acopio de cacao Fortaleza del Valle, Quiroga

The objective of the research was to evaluate the impact of solid and liquid waste on the environmental quality of the environment in the collection center "Fortaleza del Valle" Parish Quiroga del Cantón Bolívar. The research was qualitative and quantitative, the following techniques were implemented: the interview Avila methodology (1999) that served to know specific data of production of the collection center with the signing that allowed to collect information and observe the process of cacao. Subsequently, the solid and liquid residues generated in the administrative area and in the cocoa process were quantified, where 10.43 kg / month of solid residues and 0.96 m3 / month of liquid wastes were identified, the environmental findings were identified and valued. Which revealed a low criticality regarding the emission of waste through the methodology and parameters presented by TULMA, a reason that there is no greater pollution in the environment, but there is a medium criticality value in terms of health and safety from the workers. In the same way, a review of the environmental regulations and the Logical Framework Matrix was carried out. Through these results, the Environmental Management Plan was proposed in which four subplanes of environmental management were developed, which will contribute to the environmental quality of the gathering.

La investigación tuvo como objetivo evaluar la incidencia de los residuos sólidos y líquidos, en la calidad ambiental del entorno en el centro de acopio “Fortaleza del Valle” Parroquia Quiroga del Cantón Bolívar. La investigación fue de carácter cualitativo y cuantitativo, se implementaron las siguientes técnicas: la entrevista la metodología de Ávila (1999) que sirvió para conocer datos específicos de producción del centro de acopio junto al fichaje que permitió recolectar información y observar el proceso del cacao. Posteriormente se cuantificaron los residuos sólidos y líquidos generados en el área administrativa y del proceso de cacao donde se estableció 10,43 Kg/mes de residuos sólidos y 0,96 m3/mes de residuos líquidos, se identificó y valorizó los hallazgos ambientales, lo que permitió revelar, una criticidad baja respecto a la emisión de residuos mediante la metodología y parámetros que presenta el TULMA, motivo que no existe alguna mayor contaminación en el entorno, sin embargo existe un valor de criticidad media en lo referente a la salud y seguridad de los trabajadores. Del mismo modo se realizó la revisión de la normativa ambiental y la Matriz de Marco Lógico, a través de estos resultados, se propone el Plan de Manejo Ambiental en el que se elaboraron cuatro subplanes de manejo ambiental, lo que contribuirá a la calidad ambiental del acopio.
