The data on distribution and content of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and organochlorine pesticides in the bottom sediments and hydrobionts of the Black Sea are given. It is noted that the most polluted areas are the water areas near the industrial centres and estuaries. The results are given on studying of pollution of three reserve zones of the Black Sea (Karadag, Lebyazhie Ostrova (Swan islands), whose water areas are subjected by the influence of the industrial outfluxes and releases from the agricultural land. Pesticides are found in the eggs and nestlings. The results obtained indicate the necessity of regular ecological monitoring for preserving and sanitation of the ecological system of the Black Sea.

Показано влияние техногенных отходов и стоков с сельскохозяйственных угодий на концентрацию хлорорганических соединений в грунтах и гидробионтах зоны Черного моря.
