Es un proyecto el cual nace de una experiencia personal con la onicofagia, con la cual he tratado desde niño con ella y no he conseguido una solución. En el mercado, para un público tan específico, que abarca el 30% de la población mundial,(Publicaciones Semana S.A,2016) no existe un tratamiento eficaz para erradicar este trastorno. Desafortunadamente, muchas personas hoy en día siguen siendo juzgadas, etiquetadas o discriminadas con base en presentación personal, cosa que es problemática para quienes padecen de onicofagia, el hábito de comerse las uñas. Existen posibilidades desde el ámbito educativo,en diálogo con el diseño, utilizando el juego como medio, para buscar una solución al problema de la onicofagia. “CACA NENE” es una frase común en Latinoamérica que significa "deja de hacerlo" para reprender a los niños cuando, a juicio del adulto, estuvieran haciendo algo malo. Este nombre se adopta en el proyecto resignificándolo indicando que es el niño quien ahora toma el control. El proyecto “CACA NENE “se trata de una exploración de soluciones desde la lúdica dirigido a niños que sufran del problema, buscando el cambio de comportamiento y el aprendizaje mediante el juego para sustituir unos hábitos e implementar nuevos.

It is a project which is born from a personal experience with onychophagia, with which I have dealt with it since I was a child and I have not achieved a solution. In the market, for such a specific public, which covers 30% of the world population, (Publicaciones Semana S.A, 2016) there is no effective treatment to eradicate this disorder. Unfortunately, many people today continue to be judged, labeled, or discriminated against based on personal appearance, which is problematic for those who suffer from onychophagia, the habit of biting their nails. There are possibilities from the educational field, in dialogue with design, using the game as a means, to find a solution to the problem of onychophagia. "CACA NENE" is a common phrase in Latin America that means "stop doing it" to reprimand children when, in the opinion of the adult, they were doing something wrong. This name is adopted in the project resignifying it indicating that it is the child who now takes control. The “CACA NENE” project is an exploration of playful solutions aimed at children who suffer from the problem, seeking behavior change and learning through play to replace some habits and implement new ones.
