Eficiencia del filtro de material orgánico en la reducción de parámetros en las aguas residuales del matadero municipal de Rioja

La investigación se desarrolló en el camal provisional de la ciudad de Rioja, teniendo como objetivo principal “Evaluar la eficiencia del filtro de material orgánico en reducción de parámetros físico, químico y biológico de aguas residuales del matadero municipal de Rioja.”. La metodología consistió en la implementación de 4 tratamientos o filtros, el T0 (testigo o control), T1 (40 cm de aserrín + 10 cm de cascarilla de arroz + 10 cm de bagazo de caña de azúcar), T2 (20 cm de aserrín + 20 cm de cascarilla de arroz + 20 cm de bagazo de caña de azúcar), T3 (10 cm de aserrín + 10 cm de cascarilla de arroz + 40 cm de bagazo de caña de azúcar), contando con 3 muestreos cada 20 días donde se evaluaron los parámetros de coliformes fecales, demanda bioquímica de oxígeno, demanda química de oxígeno, fósforo total, nitrógeno total, pH y sólidos suspendidos totales. La prueba de Kruskal-Wallis indica que el mejor tratamiento para coliformes fecales es T1. Existiendo eficiencias para todos los tratamientos y parámetros. Se empleó la prueba de tukey, para DBO, DQO y fósforo al analizar el número de medias el mejor tratamiento es T2, al igual que para nitrógeno no existieron diferencias significativas y el mejor tratamiento es T3, en pH no existieron diferencias significativas siendo el mejor tratamiento T1, para SST existieron diferencias significativas entre T1 y T2 con T3, siendo el mejor tratamiento T2.

The research was carried out in the provisional slaughterhouse of the city of Rioja, having as main objective "To evaluate the efficiency of the organic material filter in the reduction of physical, chemical and biological parameters of wastewater from the municipal slaughterhouse of Rioja". The methodology consisted in the implementation of 4 treatments or filters, T0 (control), T1 (40 cm of sawdust + 10 cm of rice husk + 10 cm of sugarcane bagasse), T2 (20 cm of sawdust + 20 cm of rice husk + 20 cm of sugarcane bagasse), T3 (10 cm of sawdust + 10 cm of rice husk + 40 cm of sugarcane bagasse). Three samplings were done every 20 days where the parameters of fecal coliforms, biochemical oxygen demand, chemical oxygen demand, total phosphorus, total nitrogen, pH and total suspended solids were evaluated. The Kruskal-Wallis test indicates that the best treatment for fecal coliforms is T1, efficiencies existed for all treatments and parameters. The Tukey test was used for BOD, COD and phosphorus, the best treatment was T2 when analyzing the number of means, as for nitrogen, there were no significant differences and the best treatment was T3; for pH, there were no significant differences, the best treatment was T1; for TSS, there were significant differences between T1 and T2 with T3, the best treatment being T2.
