Inventario forestal del bosque nativo del recinto El Derrumbo, parroquia Chillanes, provincia de Bolívar.

Los bosques de neblina montano de la provincia de Bolívar se atribuye desde los 1800 hasta los 3000 msnm, la presente investigación propone: realizar un inventario forestal en el bosque nativo del recinto el Derrumbo, parroquia Chillanes, provincia de Bolívar; se atribuye 3 objetivos específicos, identificar las especies arbóreas existentes en el bosque nativo, determinar la estructura horizontal y vertical del bosque en estudio, estimar el índice de valor de importancia y el índice de valor forestal de las especies. Para realizar los transectos se utilizó la metodología de Gentry. Se recolectó muestras de especies forestales a partir de los 5 cm de diámetro a la altura del pecho, posteriormente se identificó taxonómicamente por familias, géneros y especies, las muestras fueron herborizadas y reposan en el herbario de la ESPOCH (CHEP) en donde se identificó 58 individuos, los cuales pertenecen a 18 familias, 23géneros y 27 especies. De acuerdo el índice de valor de importancia (IVI), la especie más dominante es Ficus dulciaria Dugand con 43,41% (IVI) además se obtuvo los índices de diversidad de Simpson de 0,95 y Shannon de 3,16 estos valores se interpreta que existe una comunidad forestal diversa, revisando con otro autor, la proporción de las especies coinciden, en el mismo piso altitudinal. Se concluye que la estructura del bosque nativo se caracteriza por la abundancia de individuos de fustes jóvenes y muy pocos árboles maduros denominándolo un bosque juvenil, cuando de una distribución “J” al revés. The montane cloud forest of Bolívar province is assigned to from 1800 to 3000 masl, this investigation proposes to develop a forestry inventory in the native forest of the El Derrumbo compound at Chillanes parish in Bolívar province; it is attributed three specific objectives such as identify the existing tree species in the native forest, to determine the horizontal and vertical structuring of the forest under study, to estimate the Importance Value Index and the forest value index of the species. Gentry methodology was used to develop the transects. Samples of forest species were collected from 5cm of diameter at chest height, it was identified taxonomically by family, genus, and species, the samples were herborized and lie in the ESPOCH herbarium (CHEP) where 58 individuals were identified, which belong to 18 families, 23 genus and 27 species. According to the Importance Value Index (IVI), the most dominant species is Ficus dulciaria Dugany with 43,41% (IVI), in addition, 0,95 Simpson’s Diversity Index and 3,16 of Shannon were obtained, these values are interpreted as having a diverse forest community, reviewing with another author, the proportion of the species coincide, on the same altitudinal floor. It is concluded that the structure of the native forest is characterized by the abundance of individuals of young shafts and very few mature tress calling it a juvenile forest when it deals with a distribution “J” upside down.
