Actividades enzimáticas determinadas en suelos bajo manejo agrícola sostenible

Las enzimas son esenciales para el metabolismo microbiano y para el funcionamiento del suelo. La fosfatasa y la β-glucosidasa juegan un papel importante en la mineralización de la materia orgánica del suelo y en los ciclos biogeoquímicos del fósforo y del carbono. Los efectos del cambio climático afectan a las enzimas y microorganismos del suelo así como a la agricultura. Los manejos agrícolas sostenibles podrían ser capaces de minimizar la alteración actual de los sistemas agrarios e incrementar la resiliencia frente al cambio climático. Uno de los factores externos que más se ha incrementado es la temperatura. La temperatura tiene un impacto fundamental en la actividad de los microorganismos, el metabolismo y las actividades enzimáticas. En este trabajo se ha estudiado el efecto de la temperatura en la actividad de las enzimas fosfatasa y la β-glucosidasa de tres parcelas de agricultura sostenible del sureste español.

Enzymes are essential for microbial metabolism and for soil functioning. Phosphatase and β-glucosidase play an important role in the mineralization of soil organic matter and in the biogeochemical cycles of phosphorus and carbon. The effects of climate change affect soil enzymes and microorganisms as well as agriculture. Sustainable agricultural management could be able to minimize the current disruption of agricultural systems and increase resilience to climate change. One of the external factors that have increased the most is the temperature. Temperature has a fundamental impact on the activity of microorganisms, metabolism and enzymatic activities. This work has studied the effect of temperature on the activity of the phosphatase and β-glucosidase enzymes from three plots of sustainable agriculture in the southeast of Spain.
