Aprovechamiento energético de la corriente marina peruana para la generación de electricidad

La necesidad de encontrar nuevas fuentes de energías renovables ha hecho que en estos últimos años se hayan desarrollado una serie de tecnologías para aprovechar las corrientes de mareas y las corrientes marinas. En la presente tesis se determina la capacidad energética de las corrientes marinas y corrientes de mareas existentes en los estrechos de nuestro litoral con base en la investigación de la Bahía Ferrol. Los resultados muestran que el emplazamiento de esta bahía es idóneo para la instalación de dispositivos tecnológicos que permitan generar energía bajo el aprovechamiento de las corrientes marinas y corrientes de mareas en la zona. La metodología utilizada para el desarrollo de la tesis fue del tipo no experimental, transaccional correlacional y longitudinal. Los datos, muestras y lecturas tomadas para el monitoreo de la corriente marina mediante equipos electrónicos como el correntómetro, equipos de batimetría, GPS entre otros son provenientes de IMARPE e HIDRONAV, Instituciones de Investigación y Control del Mar Peruano. Se concluye que el aprovechamiento de la corriente marina peruana, es viable. Presenta un bajo costo de materia prima y mantenimiento; genera una energía limpia, auto renovable; y disponible en cualquier clima y época del año. Finalmente, se recomienda diversificar la matriz energética en el Perú, y con base en la investigación presentada en esta tesis para la generación mediante corrientes marinas, profundizar estudios para la generación de energía en el mar peruano en los cuatro campos: energía de corriente marina, energía de las mareas, energía de las olas, gradiente de salinidad y la energía de gradiente térmica.

The need to find new sources of renewable energy has made have developed a number of technologies in recent years to take advantage of tidal currents and ocean currents. In this thesis the energy capacity of marine and tidal currents existing currents in the Straits of our coast -based research Ferrol Bay is determined. The results show that the location of this bay is suitable for the installation of technological devices that can generate energy in harnessing ocean currents and tidal currents in the area. The methodology used to develop the thesis was not experimental, correlational and longitudinal transactional. The data, samples and readings taken for monitoring the marine current means of electronic equipment such as current meter, bathymetry equipment, GPS and others are from IMARPE and HIDRONAV, research institutions and Control Peruvian Sea. We conclude that the use of the Peruvian ocean current is viable. It has a low cost of raw materials and maintenance; generates clean energy, renewable auto; and available in any weather and time of year. Finally, it is recommended to diversify energy sources in Peru, and based on the research presented in this thesis for generation by ocean currents, further studies for power generation in the Peruvian sea in four areas: energy ocean current, tidal energy, wave energy, salinity gradient power and thermal gradient.
