Casa de Formentor, Sáenz de Oíza. El eco del entorno

Del amor de Oíza por el lugar surge este proyecto. En un paisaje casi virgen, donde frondosos pinos y encinas se entrelazan y un mar infinito se despliega, surge esta obra como un homenaje íntimo a la naturaleza. El profundo respeto que el arquitecto muestra hacia el entorno y su sensibilidad en la integración en el lugar son las bases de las que parte este estudio. Ese diálogo entre naturaleza y arquitectura define la esencia de la obra. El trabajo se centra en el entendimiento del límite con el mar que presenta la ampliación de la Casa Huarte de Formentor, a través de un análisis de los elementos que componen la obra: la topografía, el árbol y la sombra. Mediante el estudio de la documentación existente, los dos viajes realizados y la elaboración de planos y una maqueta de trabajo, se alcanzará una comprensión profunda del entorno. Esta inmersión en el lugar permitirá un acercamiento al límite ambiguo que define la obra. This project arises from Oíza’s love for the place. In an almost virgin landscape, where leafy pines and oaks intertwine and an infinite sea unfolds, this work emerges as an intimate tribute to nature. The deep respect that the architect shows towards the environment and his sensitivity in integrating into the place are the bases from which this study is based. This dialogue between nature and architecture defines the essence of the work. The work focuses on understanding the limit with the sea that the extension of the Casa Huarte de Formentor presents, through an analysis of the elements that make up the work: topography, the tree and the shadow. By studying the existing documentation, the two trips made and the preparation of plans and a working model, a deep understanding of the environment will be achieved. This immersion in the place will allow an approach to the ambiguous limit that defines the work.
