English. Sorne specimens of Notocoly.tus imbricatus (LOOSS 1894), SZIDAT, 1935 (Trematoda, Notocotylidae), cecal parasites from swans (Cygnus olor. L.) proceding from Gijón, in the North of Spain, are described. It is the first time this trematode is identifiéd in this country, and we have considered that the host is new to the above parasite. Sorne speciniens of Bythinia tentaculata (Mollusca. Prosobranchia) heavily parasited by triocellated monostomid cercarías, similar to Cercaria imbricata (LOOSS, 1893), were found in swans'habitat.

Se describen ejemplares de Notocotylus imbricatus (Looss, 1894) SZIDAT, 1935 (Tremátoda, Notocotylidae), parásitos cecales de cisnes (Cygnus olor L.) procedentes de Gijón, en el N. de España. Es la primera vez que se identifica el trematodo en este país y, al propio tiempo, se considera igualmente que es nuevo el hospedador para el parásito citado. En el habitat de los cisnes se hallaron ejemplares de Bythinia tentaculata (Mollusca, Prosobranchia), intensamente parasitados por cercarías monostómidas trioceladas, similares a Cercaria imbricata Looss, 1893.
