Format
Collection of electron backscatter diffraction patterns was undertaken using the AZtecHKL2.2 acquisition software. EBSD maps and pole figures were constructed using the MTex MatLab toolbox. Details of the acquisition parameters are provided in the Supplementary Table file. Pole figures are constructed using a lower hemisphere, equal-area, projection.
