Oglekļa un molibdēna nanomateriālu toksiskums ūdens vidē | Toxicity of carbon and molybdenum nanomaterials in water environment

Nanomateriāli ir daudz pētīti to perspektīvi plašo pielietojumu dēļ, bet, tā kā nanodaļiņas varētu nokļūt vidē, radot tās piesārņojumu un arī radīt risku materiālu lietotājiem, pēdējos gados tiek pievērsta uzmanība arī nanomateriālu toksiskuma izpētei. Maģistra darba „Oglekļa un molibdēna nanomateriālu toksiskums ūdens vidē” mērķis ir raksturot nemodificētu oglekļa un molibdēnu saturošu nanomateriālu potenciālo ietekmi uz vidi un tā izmaiņas šķīdinātāju un humusvielu ietekmē. Eksperimenti veikti nanomateriālu ūdens suspensijā, kā arī suspensijā ar etanolu un/vai Aldrich humusvielu, kā testobjektus izmantojot dažādu trofisko līmeņu ūdens organismus – mikroaļģes Desmodesmus communis, saldūdens vēžveidīgos Daphnia magna, un sāļūdens vēžveidīgos Artemia salina. Nanomaterials are studied extensively due to their potential applications, and in recent years also attention is being paid to the nanotoxicity research regarding the fact that nanomaterials could be released into the environment causing pollution and health risks. The aim of the MSc thesis „Carbon and Molybdenum Nanomaterial Toxicity in Aquatic Environment” is to assess the effects of non-modified carbon and molybdenum compounds nanomaterials, and study how these effects change in presence of humic and surfactive substances. Toxicity tests with aquatic organisms from different trofic levels – micro algae Desmodesmus communis, freshwater crustaceans Daphnia magna and saltwater crustaceans Artemia salina – in water suspensions and suspensions with ethanol and/or Aldrich humic substance were used thereof.
