Antalya İlindeki Gökkuşağı Alabalığı (Oncorhynchus mykiss) İşletmelerinin Kuluçka Faaliyetlerinin Analizi

In this study, the activity of hatcheries of rainbow trout farms in Antalya region were evaluated from 61 of 79 active trout farms byquestionnaire. At the end of the study, 57.4% of trout farms has hatchery. Water temperature of 45.8% of hatcheries is less than 10 °C while91.4% of farms use spring water at the hatcheries. Farmers with 61.4% meet the needs of the eggs and larvae by reproducing their own farms,purchasing and reproducing with 25.0%, and only purchasing with 13.6%. 68.6% of farms uses incubator for the egg incubation. The success ofegg incubation with 54.3% and survival rate of larvae with 76.9% of farms are less than 80.0%. The highest rate with 70.0% of fish diseases isencountered in fish at the 0.3 to 5 g in weight. Farmers with 48.0% deal with to resolve the problem of disease. Products in farms are marketedas consumable fish with 62.3%, egg-fry-consumable fish with 31.1%, and fry with 6.6% of farms. Determination of hatchery activities of troutfarms in Antalya region is necessary to ensure the development of regional aquaculture and to increase its efficiency. As the position of Antalyaprovince, similar studies to increase trout production are important for development of the sector as well as sustainable aquaculture.
