Exploitation and designing problems of rip-rap: The Czarny Dunajec river
Artur Radecki-Pawlik | Karol Plesiński | Nadzieja Jurkowska
English. The long-time monitoring of electrical properties of the rip-rap by Electrical Impedance Spectrometry (EIS) method is planned for rip-rap on the Czarny Dunajec River. In the present paper we focus on the quality of the filter material used for the laying of crushed stones using for rip-rap. Filtering material is laid directly underneath the rip-rap, and its faulty selection may often lead to failure of river bank reinforcement structures. For this paper we have analysed three rip-rap revetment structures within the town of Nowy Targ. Two stability conditions, and one permeability condition have been tested. In the future we planto do it with EIS methodology and test this system to rip-rap quality measurements.
