El Fríjol (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) como alternativa agrícola para las familias campesinas de la vereda Montalvo en los ámbitos productivo, empresarial y comercial | The Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris l.) as an agricultural alternative for farming families in the Montalvo village in the productive, business and commercial fields

Se desarrolló la implementación de un sistema productivo de frijol voluble (Phaseolus vulgaris) variedad Bola Roja en un área de 2813 m2 en la vereda Montalvo del municipio de Planadas- Tolima con el fin de generar un conocimiento acerca de una nueva alternativa agrícola en la región, el uso de parámetros técnicos en el manejo integrado de plagas y enfermedades que se presentan bajo las condiciones edafoclimáticas de la misma y las labores culturales y los canales de comercialización descritos dentro del municipio. Se culminó el primer ciclo del cultivo con una producción de 549 kg, es decir, una relación de 1,78 ton/ha. Adicionalmente, se llevó a cabo el componente de investigación de carácter social cualitativo, con la ayuda de la comunidad, consistente en el desarrolló del respectivo análisis DOFA, enfatizado en el ámbito agrícola de la vereda. Conjuntamente, dentro del componente social se construyó el diagnóstico de mejoramiento en el ámbito agrícola de la Vereda la Armenia municipio de Planadas-Tolima.

The implementation of a production system of red bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) variety Bola Roja was developed in an area of 2813 m2 in the village of Montalvo in the municipality of Planadas, Tolima, in order to generate knowledge about a new agricultural alt ernative in the region, the use of technical parameters in the integrated management of pests and diseases that occur under the soil and climatic conditions of the region, and the cultural work and marketing channels described within the municipality. The first crop cycle was completed with a production of 549 kg, that is, a ratio of 1.78 tons/ha. Additionally, the qualitative social research component was carried out with the help of the community, consisting of the development of the respective SWOT anal ysis, with emphasis on the agricultural area of the village. Together, within the social component, the diagnosis of improvement in the agricultural area of the Vereda la Armenia municipality of PlanadasTolima was built.
