Propuesta de financiamiento para el sector porcícola basado en Contratos Forward negociados en la Bolsa Nacional Agropecuaria S.A

El siguiente trabajo de grado busca definir, en un primer lugar, cuales son las posibilidades existentes del sector porcícola dentro de la Bolsa Nacional Agropecuaria, para realizar un trabajo conjunto con Commodities y Banca de Inversión (CBI). Es importante mencionar, que para el momento en que se realizó este estudio, ya existía en el mercado de la Bolsa Nacional Agropecuaria, una inversión para otorgar capital de trabajo a las empresas porcícolas, llamado Contrato Porcícola a Término, aunque este no ha sido de amplia implementación y divulgación. Para esta investigación se contó con un trabajo inicial de comprensión del ciclo productivo de la actividad a financiar, la identificación del comportamiento del sector porcícola durante los últimos años, que incluye sacrificio y producción de carne de cerdo, importaciones, consumo, costos de producción y precios del cerdo, se identificaron los riesgos inherentes de la actividad productiva, la estructuración financiera y operativa del mecanismo planteado (contrato forward), el diseño del esquema de garantías necesarias y admisibles que se requieren para cubrir la operación, y el mercadeo de los productos desarrollados entre los agentes interesados en las áreas productivas y financieras. Finalmente, este trabajo de grado identificó algunas características del sector, y con base en ellas se estructuró el Contrato Forward, que consiste en la emisión de títulos de Contenido Crediticio para ser colocados en el mercado público de valores y cuyo respaldo para el pago son unos activos inmovilizados en un Patrimonio Autónomo. Es una Titularización de la cesión del derecho al pago de un Contrato de Compra Anticipada de kilos de cerdo en pie, celebrado entre el productor porcicultor y el comprador (comercializador o frigorífico), negociado en el mercado abierto de la Bolsa Nacional Agropecuaria S.A.

The following work of degree defines, in a first place, which are the existing possibilities in the pig-sector industry sector within the Farming National StockMarket, to make a joint work with Commodities y Banca de Inversión (CBI). It is important to mention, that for the moment in which this study was made, already it existed in the sector of the Farming National Stock-Market, an investment to grant capital of work to the pig-sector industries, called “Porcícola” Contract to defined time, although this it has not been of ample implementation and spreading. An initial work of understanding of the productive cycle of the activity to finance was made in the firs place for this investigation. Through this initial work it was obtained the identification of the behavior of the pig sector industry during the last years; that include sacrifice and production of pig meat, imports, consumption, production costs and prices of the pig. It was also obtained identified the inherent risks of the productive activity, the financial and operative structuring of the raised mechanism (contract forward), the design of the scheme of necessary and permissible guarantees that they are required to cover the operation, and the trade of developed products within the agents interested in the productive and financial areas. Finally, this degree work identified some characteristics of the sector, and with base in them the Forward Contract was structured, that consists of the emission of titles of Credit Content to be placed in the public market of values and whose endorsement for the payment are immobilized actives in an Independent Patrimony. It is a the constitution of Titles of the cession of the right to the payment of a Contract of Anticipated Purchase of kilos of pig still on, celebrated between the pigs producer and the buyer (dealer or slaughter), negotiated in the opened market of the Farming National Stock-Market.
