El cultivo de café (Coffea arábica) como eje de desarrollo agrícola en el municipio Quinchía – Risaralda | The cultivation of coffee (Coffea arabica) as the axis of agricultural development in the municipality of Quinchía – Risaralda

El presente trabajo se basó en la ejecución del manejo estacional de un cultivo de café (Coffea arabica) variedad castillo bajo renovación tipo zoca, ubicado en la vereda Miracampos de Quinchía- Risaralda, en el cual se realizaron actividades de tecnificación del cultivo, por medio estrategias agronómicas basadas en criterios de optimización del proceso productivo, una vez se obtuvo la cosecha se ejecutó un proceso de análisis del mercado para lograr obtener la TIR (5%) y el VAN (183.654) mayores a los proyectados el 2% y -137.573 para lograr obtener una mejor rentabilidad con utilidades lo cual favoreció la venta a la hora de la comercialización del cultivo de café. Adicionalmente, con el fin de generar un arraigo hacia la cultura cafetera, se llevaron a cabo procesos sociales con fines investigativos en la institución educativa Miracampos ubicada en Quinchía, para fortalecer el relevo generacional en los cultivos de la zona.

The present work was based on the execution of the seasonal management of a coffee crop (Coffea arabica) castillo variety under zoca-type renovation, located in the Miracampos de Quinchía-Risaralda village, in which crop technification activities were carried out, through agronomic strategies based on optimization criteria of the productive process, once the harvest was obtained, a market analysis process was carried out to obtain the IRR (5%) and the NPV (183,654) higher than those projected and 2% and -137,573 to obtain a better profitability with profits which favored the sale at the time of the commercialization of the coffee crop. Additionally, in order to generate roots towards the coffee culture, social processes were carried out for investigative purposes in the Miracampos educational institution located in Quinchía, to strengthen the generational relay in the crops in the area.
