Ethylene production and epinastic growth of leaf petioles of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill. cv. Moneymaker) plants sprayed with 0.1 mM naphthyl-1-acetic acid were suppressed when 1 mM-alpha-aminooxyacetic acid (AOA) was simultaneously sprayed on the plants.
