The survey aims to trace and determine the reasons for the low success rate in transferring and disseminating rice technology to the farmers. The rice technology mentioned include the cultivation of high yielding varieties, the procedure and rate of usage of rice fertilizers, and pest control measures. The methodology adopted, procedure and rate of dissemination and acceptance of rice technology, problems inherent in disseminating rice technology, and proposals to overcome the problems are presented
