The products' characteristics preferred were firmness; freedom from defects, damage and blemishes cleanliness; right maturity and ripeness; and right shape and size. Apparently, the above characteristics are related and associated with the right production technology and methods of handling done with the commodities. These information are very useful since they may serve as guide to producers on the choice of variety and cultural practices and to both farmers and traders as to the proper handling of produce before they reach the end consumers
