The present study was conducted at the Turkey Research Centre, in 1979/1980 on a breeding flock of local white turkeys composed of 35 males and 125 females to investigate the phenotype of productive and reproductive traits in female population to consider egg production and related traits affecting this production. The obtained results indicate that high egg production is in the first six months of the first year, and reached the average level of high standard strain of turkey. The replacement stocks can be chosen from winter and spring hatches rather than from summer and autumn hatches because of the increase in egg production, fertility and hatchability
