Identification of germplasms with multiple disease resistance in IR and BR lines in Bangladesh

Germplasm and advance breeding lines were tested against tungro (Tg), bacterial blight (BB), blast (B1), sheath blight (ShB), and stem rot (SR) in the field with artificial inoculation. Out of about five thousand materials tested, only 34 were found to be resistant (R) to more than one disease and 18 to three or more diseases. The entries showing R-mod resistant (MR) reactions to three or more diseases are given
