A strategy for crop diversification in Bangladesh

In the context of present land use pattern and cropping systems, further crop diversification will depend on the availability of unused or underused land, availability of new technology, economic profitability of the new technology, demand and market for the extra produce, and corrective measures against associated constraints. These question are examined in the light of the present situation.
