1985
Kang, T.H. | Choi, Y.K. | Cha, Y.H. (Office of Rural Development, Suwon (Korea R.). Livestock Experiment Station)
The metabolic study using poultry was to obtain the N corrected metabolizable energy (MEn) value of the feedstuffs "The Composition of Korean Feedstuffs" published in '81. It was found that MEn of wheat bran and rice bran were higher than that of NRC ('77) and Japanese Feed Composition ('75), respectively. MEn of rapeseed meal imported from Canada was higher than that of Yeong San and Yudal, but lower than that of NRC ('77). MEn of sesame meal was inferior to "The Composition of Korean Feedstuffs ('81) and Japanese Feed Composition ('75). It was also shown that MEn of corn gluten meal was slightly higher than that of the composition of Korean feedstuffs
