The survey and analysis of soil were carried out to research on the problems of mulberry fields applied glutamic acid fermentation residue fertilizer (GAFRF). 364 mulberry farmers from 110 Si or Gun were chosen at random. Application rate of 3 elements to mulberry field was 25.8-12.8-16 by non-GARFR using farmers, whereas 9.8-4.5-5.5 kg/10a by GAFRF using farmers. The content of organic matter, available P2O5, K, Ca, Mg and pH of GAFRF applied soil was somewhat lower than in non-applied GAFRF soil
