The efficiency of herbicides:Glifosat, Aminotriazol, Dalapon and their combinations on the weed species:Typha angustifolia L. and T. latifolia L. from the canals of the hydromelioration system Danube-Tisza -Danube(DTD) was investigated. The herbicides were applied in different phenological phases. At the locality of the Water resources management organization (WRMO) Zrenjanin the herbicides were applied in the full-blooming stage and at the locality of WRMO Vrsac in the fruiting stage. In the first evaluation in both localities, the highest percentage of reduction of weeds was achieved with the application of Glifosat herbicide, dosed 10 l/ha. Somewhat lower efficiency was shown by Dalapon, dosed 25 kg/ha and Glifosat, dosed 8 l/ha. The 5 l/ha dose of Glifosat preparation had a very weak effect on the investigated weed species. The second and third evaluations showed a better effect of the herbicides applied in the full-blooming phenophase of the weeds, compared with the application of the herbicides in the fruiting stage of the weeds. An intensive circulation of saps(root-leaf) in the full-blooming stage had a notable effect on the impact of translocation herbicides;Glifosat, for instance, dosed 10 l/ha showed a high efficiency in both weed species. The preparations Dalapon, dosed 25 kg/ha Glifosat, dosed 8 l/ha, showed somewhat lower efficiency. These herbicides applied in the fruiting stage of weeds, showed somewhat lower efficiency. It is concluded that the optimum term for herbicide application on the investigated weeds in the hydromelioration facilities of the DTD system is the time of intensive sap circulation, before fruting (in Jully).
