Income analysis in the cropping system research site of the Dhaka-Narayanganj-Demra project [Bangladesh], 1983

A sample of 30 farmers from Dhaka-Narayanganj-Demra irrigation project of Bangladesh were monitered between 1 Jan 1983 - 1 Jan 1984. Annual income was considered in terms of agricultural income and non-agricultural income. The results were (i) average total annual income was 18,170 Taka, (ii) average annual income per family member was Tk. 1,850, (iii) non-agricultural income was significantly important and represented over 65% of monthly total income for all size of categories
