1986
Rahman, M.R.
The survey area comprises the Ganesh agricultural farm of Setabgonj in Thakurgoan, Bangladesh. Soils, occupying mainly level of very gently undulating land, are developed in old Himalayan piedmont alluvium. Pale brown to dark brown medium and moderately coarse textured soils occuring on flood plain ridges dominate the farm. Nutrient status of the soils as evident from the analysis of top soils, is rather poor. The agricultural potential of the land has been evaluated in terms of land capability classes, subclasses and units.
