Present work dealt on review of the application of gene isolation technology or recombinant DNA technology. This technology involves the chemical synthesis of DNA fragments coding for proteins, insersion of these DNA fragments in a restriction endonuclease, cleavage site of the vector, introduction of recombinant DNA molecule into a host to replicate, and then to characterise the desired clones to ensure that they maintain true copies of DNA which was originally cloned
