Management of potassic fertilizer under different plant arrangement in chilli (Capsicum annuum L.)

An experiment was conducted in 1980-81 and 1981-82 to study the effects of different levels of potash under various seedlings per hill on growth, yield and economics of Chilli (Capsicum annuum L.) The highest yield of wet chillies (68.85) q/ha), as well as that of dry chillies (19.52 q/ha) was recorded with 50 kg K2O/ha and two seedlings per hill. The highest mean net return of Rs. 6471.00 was obtained with 50 kg K2O/ha with benefit: cost ratio of the order of 25.90 and yield of dry chillies was 14.45 kg/kg K2O
