A field experiment was conducted on sandy loam soils to find out the effect of different levels and methods of fertilizer application on rainfed groundnut. The results indicated that 20 kg N + 40 kg P205/ha was optimum for high yields and profit. Increased concentration of nitrogen and phosphorus in dry matter increased pod yield. Oil content of kernels increased due to fertilizer application
